Little Marlow won the toss and elected to field.

Denham were soon in trouble. Like the Greeks at Thermopylae, Stuart Payne (45) and Faisal Mahmood (24) held the pass as long as they could, but perished in the end as we knew they must, with Denham only achieving 136-9 off 49 overs (but with a bright unbeaten 13 from Akhil).

Little Marlow knocked off the runs at speed to get the victory in before the advancing rain: 137-3 off 22 overs, with Glennister 55 and R Fenwick 26

Result: Little Marlow won by 7 wkts
