Slippered: Denham Fall To First Defeat

Denham Sunday side suffers its first defeat. Having secured a late fixture with Slip End after Rickmansworth cried off, Denham faced an unknown opponent.

Batting first on a difficult wicket, Denham scored 192 with competent 50s from James Nicholas and Bobby Rai and a useful 30 from Joe O'Hara.

However, despite trying many bowlers, Denham failed to contain the clean hitting batting style of the opponents.

Slip End reached their target losing only 4 wickets, Joe O'Hara taking 3 of them.
