In a rain-affected game, Denham restricted Binfield to 210/7 declared from 42 overs, thanks largely to the bowling of Gurpreet Gakhal 4-38 and Joe O'Hara 2-51, leaving Denham another 42 overs to get the runs.

In reply Denham started badly, losing both openers early on. However Usman Khan and Russell Bowry (45) put on over 100 for the 3rd wicket. Usman continued on to score an exceptional 111 not out, to guide Denham to victory with a couple of overs and 6 wickets to spare.

Priceless If Not Quite Princeless

Denham plunged to a heavy defeat on Sunday, electing to bat first against strong opponents from The Royal Household. Their opening bowlers knew where to pitch the ball and used the conditions to skittle Denham out for a mere 27. Bobby Rai top-scored with 9.

The only consolation was to gain one wicket in reply as Joe O'Hara caught and bowled one of their openers.
