Taplow 1st XI v Denham 1st XI

Close but no cigar
Taplow won the toss and had no hesitation in batting first. They knocked up a dominant 253/2 in 45 overs before declaring.
Denham made a good attempt in reply. When Joe O'Hara and Usman Khan were batting we had good chances, but both fell short of their fifties (O'Hara 45, Khan 42) and Denham perished, a mere 22 runs behind.
A lot of work for only 6 points (Taplow getting 30).
Winchmore Hill
beat top club Wraysbury to come within a point of them, with Taplow third and
Penn & Tylers Green fourth, just ahead of Binfield. Denham have slumped
to equal second last with Englefield and above Holyport.
Next game: home to bottom club Holyport - come on Denham!
Denham 2nd XI v Little Marlow 2nd XI

Denham won the toss and batted, but could only make 162/9 in 52 overs against the league leader's attack.
Little Marlow scorched to victory in just 32 overs, although they did drop 6 wickets in the process.

Little Marlow are now 48 points ahead of Wargrave who lost against White Waltham. Denham are fourth, 1 point behind Braywood, who won again.
Next game: a trip to dangerous White Waltham
