August 18th/19th Bad weather prevented any chance of results in the two League games on Saturday. For the Firsts, James Nicholas writes: "Yet another game ended in abandonment for Denham on Saturday at home to Cookham Dean. Earlier Denham had been asked to bat on a wet wicket and struggled to 168/9 from 50 overs. Both O'Hara (37) and Mahmood (23) made good starts before playing one shot too many. Shaikh also made a careful 28 and the score looked competitive. However the rain came at tea and no more play was possible." This earnt Denham 8 points.
